Recommended Suspension Enhancement for 6 Inch Lift and Off-Road Trailer Towing
Question:
I have a 2016 F150 FX 4x4 Lariat, with a 6 Lift all round running on 35/12.5/20 MT tires and wheels. I take the vehicle off road as well as towing a utility trailer offroad, when towing my trailer i usually see a good 2-3 drop in the rear off my vehicle. I run my truck and trailer offroad = clearing landscapes. so im basically creating my own roads,.. Due to the terrain, i have already ripped off the jockey wheel off the trailer twice as the terrain is so uneven. I then run on road to dispose. Im wanting to know if you have a product that would help with my lifted truck, and would it impede on the off-road ability like i said terrain can be very uneven. Thanks for your help

With your 6 inch lift, the Timbren springs do have spacer availability, however the # TFRTT1504E is designed for severe service vehicles like tow trucks and would not be ideal in any way for off-road use. I definitely don't suggest Timbren springs for your application as they are designed for on the road towing and are really firm for support.
For your truck I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2582 because they are extremely adjustable for your needs. They come with the manual inflation valves to let you adjust your air pressure to your desires. You will need the Lift Spacers for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Vehicles w/ 6" Lift # F2375 to work with your 6 inch lift. These air springs will help with suspension in both on and off-road applications.
If you want adjustability at any time, I recommend using the compressor and gauge kit # F2158. This will allow you to adjust the air pressure in your system at any time from the comfort of your cab.
