We have a kit that is designed to convert the 4-Way flat wiring harness, # C56328, to a 7-Way RV style connector for towing your new camper. The Electric Brake Controller Installation Kit, # ETBC7, is a complete kit and Includes the seven pole round RV style connector, and all of the wiring, connectors and circuit breakers that you will need to complete the wiring.
We also have detailed instructions and a video showing how to install this kit, see links. The vehicle in the video is different, but the wiring principle is the same.
The only other item you will need is a brake controller, as you mentioned. We have many to choose from, see link.
I would recommend a proportional brake controller, like the P2 Brake Controller # 90885, for your 2011 Kia Sorento. This controller is easy to use and setup and is our best selling brake controller. Our customers rate this brake controller a 4.9 out of 5 stars in our customer review statistics.
