Gear, Bushing, & Spring Replacement Kit For Jacks Manufactured Before 2003
Question:
I just bought this trailer, I would like to put a new electric motor on this unit, BD500153, the motor that was on here broke, but it was a generic. I just bought the BD1824200100, thinking it would mount up and work together based on what I have read. I feel like I am missing a bushing or something to tie these units to the motor. Do you have any suggestions? Attached are some pictures to help see what is going on

Expert Reply:
On the Bulldog Powered-Drive Kit for Single-Speed Jacks w/ 12,000-lb Capacity # BD1824200100, if your jack was manufactured before 2003, you will need the replacement gear kit for sidewind jacks # BD500212 to complete installation of this drive kit. This maybe the missing piece that will make it work together. This is a gear, bushing, and spring replacement kit.
If you have any further issues, I will be happy to help.
