Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2012 Honda CR-V
Question:
Does anyone make a multifit trailer receiver that is compatible with a 2012 Honda CR-V? Only trying to pull a 4x8 U-Haul. Don’t care about the looks. Really don’t have the patience to wait on one to be order. Need it ASAP. If anyone know of where I can buy one in stores please let me know. I have been looking for a model number and can’t seem to find one for a MULTIFIT or UNIVERSAL which ever would would like to call it. I am a female so bolting it in only would be the best option for me.

We carry the Draw Tite hitch part # 75742 which is a confirmed fit for your 2012 Honda CR-V which would be a great option for you. It will easily tow a small trailer, installs by just bolting in, and is priced great. We can ship stuff very quickly if you select a faster shipping method too. I attached an install video for you to check out as well.
For trailer wiring you'd then want the # 118561 which is also a confirmed fit.
Since you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not include a ball mount with the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, check out the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
