Will a Swagman Threaded Hitch Pin and Cable Lock Fit a Saris Bike Rack  

Question:

Can you tell me if this swagman lock is compatible with Saris Thelma rack? I believe the Selma requires a threaded bolt, but Im not sure if this lock is unique to swagman locks. If it wont work, can you recommend a 1-1/4 and 2 hitch compatible lock/anti-rattle with an attached cable? Thanks

If the Saris bike rack does have a threaded hitch pin hole, then only a Saris threaded hitch pin will fit. Each company makes their threaded parts unique so only their parts are compatible with each other.

If the Saris rack does not have a threaded hitch pin, you could most likely use the Hollywood Racks 2" Hitch Lock and 8' Cable Lock for Bike Racks # HRLHPC2 for the non-threaded pin and cable lock. If you just want a cable lock, you can use # e98891. For a 1-1/4 inch receiver hitch lock without threading use # e98879.
