Comparing Dimensions for Lippert Alumi-Tread Manual Pull-Out Step 3 and 4 Step Assemblies

Question:

We have a 2017 Keystone Premier Ultra Lite TT w/ 3 steps. I would like to purchase the Lippert 432698 to replace the 3 steps so it easier to step up into the trailer. I believe I read that the 432698 has an 8inch rise vs. 9inch for 432696. My question - What is the overall height of the 4 steps in comparison with the 3 steps and will it work on my trailer? Thanks.

The Lippert Alumi-Tread Manual Pull-Out Step - Quad # LC432698 that you referenced does indeed feature a drop/rise of 8 inches, while the Lippert Alumi-Tread - Triple # LC432696 has a drop/rise of almost 9 inchces (8-3/4 inches to be exact).

The 4-Step model will feature an overall distance of 49-5/8 inches from the top of the mounting bracket to the bottom of the last step. The 3-Step model has a distance of 38-3/4 inches for this measurement. The ideal entry height for the 4-Step, which refers to the height from the ground to where the mounting bracket will attach to the trailer, is 30-3/4 inches, compared to 24-1/2 inches for the 3-Step model.

I have attached diagrams for both models so you can see these and additional measurements labeled. I have also attached a couple video demonstrations that you can check out.
