Brake Light Relay Recommendation for 2018 Jeep JK Wrangler Unlimited Being Flat Towed
Question:
Going to install this on 2018 wrangler jk. Ran seperate 12v socket from battery for Patriot brake. Will have charge line from coach to jeep battery. Should I pull brake light fuse when towing so brake lights only light up when motorhome brake lights come on? Thanks so much.

We have a brake light relay part # RM-88400 which is designes for your exact situation and is recommended when using the Blue Ox Patriot part # BLU37TR with a bulb-socket style tow bar wiring kit like part # RM-155-2 that you referenced.
This would be your best option and would not require you to pull fuses for the brake lights which would only take out the third brake light anyway.
