I believe you may have been referencing the Curt # C83072 and the etrailer # HW03-080 because the only stake pocket from Redline is the Stake Pocket Tie-Down Anchor # WFSPDR which has a D-ring and is much more than twice the Curt because it has a different application.

Assuming that, the difference between the two stake pockets is simply the dimensions. The Curt # C83072 has inner dimensions of 3-3/4" long x 1-5/8" wide x 3" tall and has steel which is 3/16" thick, while the etrailer # HW03-080 has inner dimensions of 3-9/16" wide x 1-9/16" deep x 3" tall and has steel which is 1/4" thick.
