Can QuickTrim Hub Cover for Trailer Wheels Fit Lug Nuts That are Removed by 13/16" Socket?

I have trailer wheels with 5 on 4 1/2 lug placement, so the mentioned item number seems to match my wheel requirements. Where I get confused is the statement that it fits 1/2 inch lug nuts. My lug nuts require a 13/16 inch socket to remove them. The actual lugs are 1/2 inch in diameter, but the lug nuts are 13/16 inch outside diameter, based on the socket size to remove them. So, by indicating compatibility with 1/2 inch lug nuts, are you referring to the diameter of the lug nut threads?

We have gotten this question before and you can use the Phoenix USA QuickTrim Hub Cover for Trailer Wheels # QT545C so long as you have a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern and 1/2" wheel bolt.

The term 1/2" lug nut is used because there are a few different outer diameters - 13/16", 3/4", 7/8" - all of which fit 1/2" wheel bolts, but so long as you have the correct bolt pattern you won't have any difficulty using the Phoenix USA QuickTrim Hub Cover for Trailer Wheels # QT545C.
