Sounds like you have the Thule Combi Carrier part # TH665C which requiresd a 2 inch hitch and you have a 1-1/4 inch hitch installed on your 2018 Audi Q7. The solution you need is to replace your current hitch with a 2 inch trailer hitch. For that we have the etrailer part # e88KR.
