Using Swagman Easy-Out Bike Frame Adapter To Level Bike
Question:
I bought a bike rack for 05 sonata to use my girl/womans bike and must mount on angle and when I do it is only about 5 inches from the ground - heard about your bar and want to purchase but could the bike lower. Do you have something to go from bike hitch to may raise it up so then I can attach my bike rack to that so it will raise my bike up? I cant extend my bike rack or at least I dont think so unless there is something you can purchase to make it a little taller. Please advise. I am from St. Louis so this is great to email a local company. Thanks in advance.

An adapter bar like the one offered by Swagman, part # 64005 would span the distance from the seat post to the handlebar gooseneck, providing a level attachment point to the bike rack. Since the bike would be level on the rack, the bike will actually sit higher on the rack, gaining you more ground clearance.
To get a better idea of how using an adapter bar would change the way your bike sits on the rack, check out the product demonstration video. You can see the video by clicking on the provided link.
