According to our contacts at CURT, trailer hitch # C13050, will fit on the 2008 Cadillac SRX if it has the Sports Package. None of the other hitches we carry are designed to work with the fascia that comes on the sports package models. I have included a link to the installation details for you to view.
There is no template available for trimming the fascia. The spare tire will need to just be lowered to install the hitch and raised again after installation. The hitch should not interfere with the spare tire.
If you are planning on doing some towing I recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit, # 989900, which comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a pin and clip and a carrying bag. For trailer wiring use # 119147KIT. I have included a link to the installation details for the wiring as well.
