Adapter For Reese Sliding Hitch in 2018 Ford F-250 With Factory Puck System
Question:
I had a rv dealership install Reese 5th wheel in 2016 F250 without the factory underbed rails. I would like to use the same hitch in my new 2018 F250 with the factory underbed rail system. Will this hitch work fine in my 2018 and if so what adapter do I need to purchase to make this hitch work, Thank you.

The answer is yes, a Reese 5th wheel hitch like the # RP30047 can absolutely be used in your 2018 Ford F-250 with the factory puck system. In order to do so, all you would need is an adapter, which is the following part:
- Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter # RP30156
This adapter will mount directly in your F-250's puck system (either the long bed or short/standard bed) and allow you to mount your Reese 5th wheel hitch directly in the adapter.
