For your 2009 Infinity G37 sedan, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4"
Item # C11499. The Class I is all that is available for your vehicle, but will work well to tow a small trailer like you mentioned to tow a couple kayaks or some mulch/wood from time to time.
I recommend using ball mount # 3593 with this hitch and a 2 inch hitch ball like # 19258. If you check your coupler and determine you need a 1-7/8 inch diameter ball, then I recommend using # 19256. For your trailer wiring harness, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118480. This will connect to your factory wiring behind each tail light and pull power directly from your vehicle battery. I've attached an article to assist with routing that wire.
If you don't already have a trailer for that application, I recommend the Detail K2 Mighty Multi A-Frame Utility Trailer - 7-1/2' Long - 1,640 lbs # K2MMT5X7.
