How to Fix a Trailer Leaning Heavily to One Side

Question:

Thanks for the information. My trailer has a 6500lbs gvwr. What product would you recommend for that?

The reason your trailer is heavily leaning to one side is because of the way it's loaded. From the picture, it appears that you have much more equipment on the right side than you do the left side. This uneven loading has caused the leaf spring to wear down quicker overtime further worsening the problem.

Unfortunately, you really only have two options to fix the problem which would be to either reorganize how equipment is loaded on the trailer or replace the suspension components with something that is more forgiving with uneven/off-center loads. If you cannot redistribute the weight evenly across both sides of the trailer then I recommend getting a Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System. This system will actually replace the axle and leaf springs with an aeon rubber spring that works independently of one another and will help with your extremely off-center load.

I have attached a list of the available systems we have for you to choose from. In order for me to recommend a set I would need to know your gross trailer weight (GTW), bolt pattern, and whether or not you have brakes, if so what type?

The Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System that I recommend for your sewer trailer is part # TASR7KS01. This system has a 7,000 capacity which will allow for the max gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of you trailer. In order to add brakes to this axle you are going to want to use part # 23-105, part # 23-106, and part # 42866UC3-EZ (2). These brakes work with wheels that have a 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern. If you have a different bolt pattern or type of brake then please let em know and I would be happy to make sure you get the right parts.
