Trailer is Too Close to Rear Bumper on 2018 Ford F-250 Short Bed with Factory Pucks

Question:

2018 f250 6.5 foot bed puck system Not enough room between bumper and camper I have a goose neck adapter I’ve looked at oem hitch but still not enough room do they make a round shank on that hitch like the square shank on the b and w hitch thanks

You mentioned that you have an adapter. Is the trailer a gooseneck trailer or a 5th wheel trailer? If it is a gooseneck trailer then one option that could work for you is the B&W Extend-A-Goose # BWTEXA4200. It features a 10 inch offset and will fit an outer tube that has an inner diameter of 4 inches. I have linked a video review for you.

If you are towing a 5th wheel trailer then your best option is B&W Companion hitch # BWRVK3370 which fits directly in the pucks. You can position the head on the hitch to be more towards the rear of the vehicle with will put the king pin 1 inch in front of the center line of the rear axle (according to the instructions I have linked for you).
