I do have some information that should help you determine whether or not the in-bed trunk will open on a 2017 Honda Ridgeline with the Pace Edwards JackRabbit Hard Tonneau Cover # 311-JRHA17A43 installed.
According to the directions (see accompanying photo), there will be a distance of 49-7/16" between the rails when the tonneau is installed in your Ridgeline. So if you measure the in-bed trunk of your Ridgeline and find it to be less than 49-7/16" it will be able to fully open.
