4-Way to 7-Way Adapter Recommendation when Trailer Brakes arent Needed

Question:

I have purchased a hitch for my 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan which I have installed with no problem. I plan to pull a heritage fishing boat with trailer. No trailer brakes on the trailer so I dont need that hook up. I also purchased wiring harness 118534 to convert for the dodge caravan . I found out that the boast trailer has a 7 pin plug that I have to adapt. This part is part is not included with my conversion kit . Do I need something in addition? Looks like I need part H20046 but am not sure if this will work with the harness I have already purchased. DoI need a whole different wiring harness conversion kit? Please recommend. I can return the 118534 that I have to accommodate if needed.

All you need to tow your trailer with a 7-way is the adapter part # 37185. The 4-way of the # C56331 plugs into the 4-way of the # 37185 and the 7-way will have all of the trailer light signals active. It's as simple as that!
