If your 2011 GMC Sierra has a factory 7-Way then the needed wiring is already run, but there isn't a connector under your dash. To install the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 you need to hardwire it to the brake controller wiring under your driver's side dash.
When we installed this brake controller on a 2011 Sierra we connected the following colors from the brake controller to the following wires on the Sierra:
Blue - Blue
White - White
Black - Red/Black Tracer
Red - Light Blue/White Tracer
Please note that the Orange wire on the Sierra was not used. You also need to open up the hood and connect a few wires to the ring terminals on your battery. This is all covered in the attached installation video. It is also important to notice that some wiring may not be the same colors for your application. If this is the case then it is best to do some testing prior to connecting your brake controller. Let me know if they aren't the same and I can let you know how to test.
If you don't have the factory wiring, the wires are run (as stated above) but you will also need either the Pollak # PK11898 or the Hopkins # 30955 depending on if the circular plug already exists or not.
