Will the Tekonsha T-One # 118461 Carry the Emergency Flasher Signal on a 2009 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
I have a slightly different need for this harness. I am going to be a race official for Race Across America this June a bicycle race. They would like us to have flashing amber lights tied in with the vehicles flashers mounted on the roof rack to aid in visibility. So what I need to know is, if I use this harness I am assuming one of the poles in the 4 pole connector is ground is one of the remaining three for emergency flashers? I am assuming the three are for: directional flashers and brake, running light when head lights are on and either emergency flashers or backup....

Yes, the Tekonsha T-One # 118461 uses a standard 4-Way Flat connector which carries running lights, left brake/turn signal, right brake/turn signal, and the ground. The flasher signals would draw off both the left brake/turn signal and the right brake/turn signal. This is a confirmed fit for your 2009 Subaru Outback Wagon and I have attached an installation video for you to reference.
If you don't already have lights I recommend the Hopkins Magnetic Tow Lights # C6304. These don't connect to a roof rack but they can be mounted pretty much anywhere on your roof. They will do a great job at increasing the visibility of your Outback Wagon during your bike race!
