Weight Distribution System Recommendation for 2014 Santa Fe XL
Question:
We would like to tow a 23ft hybrid trailer with our Santa Fe XL. Towing weight as per specs is listed at 4035lb for trailer 2007 Jayfeather EXP 23b. Max allowable for the Santa Fe is 5000. We wouldnt be loading it down with much as we basically camp close to home. Looking to install a load distributor on the trailer to help since this is close to the max. Are we crazy? Or will this work. Really want this trailer, and not in the market to buy a bigger truck!

As long as you have a hitch installed on your 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe like the Curt part # C13153 which is rated for weight distribution you'd be fine. This would be a great solution to allow you to tow your weight capacity safer too.
For a weight distribution that would work well we have the part # RP66082 which has a tongue weight range of 200-600 lbs and has the only sway control system on the market that's designed to fight sway before it starts.
For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
