6 Point Automatic Leveling System Recommendation 2010 Keystone Montana Fifth Wheel

Question:

I asked if the Lippert 6-point sys would work on a 2010 keystone Montana. I have a follow up question. This model has a entry door and steps just aft of the wheel well. Is it OK to mount the rear leveling jacks on the inside of the frame vs the outside. It would narrow the base for stability but the steps would have to be removed to mount outside the rail.

Yes, the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System w Touchpad and Remote # LC675817 which uses 6 points for leveling would fit and work well on your 2010 Keystone Montana fifth wheel. This would be an excellent way to keep your RV level and stable when parked.

I attached a picture that I took from the install instructions for the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 part # LC675817 that covers the rear jack installation for you to check out. You can install them on the inboard side of the frame rails if you have better clearance there. Having them as wide as possible does give it the best stability, but it really wouldn't make too much of a difference and would work well in either configuration.
