Could Reese Steadi Flex Weight Distribution System be Used on Older Camper Trailer  

Question:

Will the reese flexi hitch work with my trailer and truck. Trailers tongue weight empty is rated at 346, trailer empty at 3146. Ill have a generator in the bed of the truck along with gear. Two 15 gallon propane tanks and 35 gallon water tank are just behind the hitch.

If your loaded tongue weight is going to be between 600-1,200 lbs then the Reese Steadi Flex part # RP66560 would work well for you. That includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle as well.

Based on what you listed it is very possible you'd fall in that range but hard to say for certain without you getting me the weights of all the things you mentioned and how full the water tank would be.

For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
