Will the Draw-Tite # 75902 or T-One Wiring # 118480 Affect the Lift-Gate Feature on a 2018 Rogue
Question:
Hello. I am interested in Item # 75902 and Item # 118480. I have a rogue SV that I will be putting it on. I have a motion activated lift gate. Will this hitch and wiring harness in anyway effect the use of my motion activated lift gate? Thank you!

Expert Reply:
The receiver of the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75902, or any trailer hitch for that matter, will allow you to still activate the lift-gate feature on your 2018 Nissan Rogue. Instead of waving your foot under the bumper you will simply need to kick to the left or right of the receiver (as if kicking a football) to activate the lift-gate.
The Tekonsha T-One # 118480 wiring kit will not affect the lift-gate at all.
For a complete towing setup, if that's what you plan on doing, you also need a ball mount kit. I recommend the populer Curt Class III Ball Mount with 2" Ball # C45036 which has a 2" drop, but you need to check out the attached ball mount article to ensure that this is correct for your application.
I have attached some installation videos for you to check out but you also need to check your owner's manual for any specifications on towing.
