Automatic Leveling Feature Of The Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller

Question:

I recently installed the primus IQ in my winnebago and it displays 0.0 when braking until tilting or changing the position of the controller. The manual control works regardless but I don’t know why I would need to change the position ever time I brake

I have a diagram of the correct orientation the brake controller # TK90160 should be in to function accurately. The automatic leveling is meant to keep the brake controller functioning correctly, even if you are going up and down steep hills etc. You must mount it in your cab at a vertical angle that is between 0 degrees (level) and 90 degrees, and the controller will level itself automatically. They must be mounted level on a horizontal plane in the correct direction of travel.

If this does not fix your issue, contact me back.
