Do you spray or coat the magnet in factory or before storage or shipping?

The Magnets on the Electric Trailer Brake Assembly # AKEBRK-35L are not sprayed or coated from the factory or here at etrailer.com. It is not a good idea to lubricate or oil the magnet or where it touches the hub.
However there is e-coat on the backing plate, pivot and where the brake shoes slide. That coating is only applied from the factory.
