Adding 7-way adapter to 75270  

Question:

I need to add a 7-way adapter to my 2004 Honda Odyssey with a 75270 hitch already installed. I plan to get the ETBC7 kit, but see that some videos mention a no-drill bracket. Trying to figure out whether to get the 18140 or 18136, or something else entirely. Want to make sure theres enough clearance for the 7-way but dont want it to stick out past the bumper of course. Thanks in advance.

We have an installation video showing the # ETBC7 kit being used to install a brake controller on a 2009 Odyssey. The bracket, part # 18138 would be fine for your Odyssey. The actual 7-way mounting bracket can be installed to the 18138 backwards, as shown in the video. This should place the face of the 7-way more or less flush with the face of the bumper.
