How to Replace Thule Locking Cylinders on a Roof Rack
Question:
How are the locking cylinders installed on the roof racks?

Expert Reply:
When you go to change the lock cylinders on your roof rack to the cylinders of the Thule Locking Cylinders 4 Pack # TH450400 you will insert the included universal change key into an unlocked cylinder that is currently in your roof rack and then remove the cylinder. It may take a little bit of wiggling for the cylinder to work itself loose, but when the change key is inserted into the lock cylinder the cylinder will be free to slide out.
Next, you will insert the change key into a cylinder from the # TH450400 and you will insert the cylinder into the rack and then remove the change key.
