Is Premium Gas Required For Tuners To Improve MPG For 2017 Silverado 1500 High Country 6.2L
Question:
Will the Superchips or Edge tuners improve MPG because as your aware 6.2L calls for Premium gas from the factory and you can't burn regular 87 octane without a reduction in performance or at least I don't think I can please let me know your thoughts in detail. Thank you.

Both the Superchips Dashpaq Performance Tuner, Item # SU2060, and the Edge Gas Evolution CS2, Item # EP85350, will work with your 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country 6.2L. They both can boost your horsepower, torque, and fuel economy depending on the programming. For maximum performance with either system, use the recommended octane gas (probably 91 or higher).
Both tuners have options when it comes to your Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Depending on which tune you choose, you will see an increase in your miles per gallon with an average of 1 or 2 depending on driving patterns. The tuners also have several different power levels and even some options for personal customizing.
You do not have to be an expert mechanic to use either system and they both plug directly into your OBD-II port and mount to your windshield via suction cup.
To learn more about installation, use, and options, you just need to read through the user's manual.
Please note that these performance modules are not legal for sale or use on pollution-controlled vehicles in the state of California.
I have attached a link to an article and a video for you to check out.
