Grease Cap Availability for Timken 09074 Bearing

Question:

I have what appears to be an older agricultural hub that I am trying to find dust caps for. The outer cone bearing is a Timken 09074 and the hub has an inside diameter of 1.925. Any chance that you might have a dust cap that works?

Unfortunately we don't have a fit for the 1.925 inch inner hub diameter. The closest we have is 1.938 inches or 1.81 inches which will not fit. Let me know if you are wanting to seek another hub option to replace your current one.

Since your Timken bearing doesn't cross reference with the bearings we carry your best option to see if there is a hub available would be to take some measurements with a caliper like # PTW80157 on your spindle. You want to measure where the seal, and inner and outer bearings ride. I've attached a photo to assist.
