Recommended Manual Stabilizer Jack For Toy Hauler

Question:

I have a 2017 XLR NITRO 28kw toy hauler. It came with electric stabilizer jacks and I bent one of the legs. They do not sell just the legs so my options are to purchase entire new stabilizer or change to standard leveling jacks. Im thinking I may be better off with actual manual leveling jacks but Im not sure which ingress would be best for my application? I believe I need the 30inch and my toy hauler weighs 9000lbs empty and its 36.5foot long including the tongue. What would you recommend for my situation?

Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jacks # UF48-979031 can be either bolted or welded to the frame of your trailer or RV and can stabilize up to 10,000 lbs each ONLYI 6500 POUNDS. This jack has a 30" lift. The scissor jacks level and stabilize a variety of trailers so it'll work on your travel trailer. It features the heavy duty worm gear mechanism that's going to prevent slippage. It's going to make it perfect and ideal for stabilizing and leveling your 2017 XLR NITRO 28kw toy hauler.

The distance between the 2 outside mounting holes on center on Ultra-Fab scissor jacks # UF48-979031 is approximately 6 inches. I have included a picture that shows this and other dimensions for you. The picture is on the single scissor jack but it is the same on both jacks that come in the pair, # UF48-979031.

I recommend going with the largest bolts that will fit, grade 5 or higher, if you will be bolting the jacks on. They can also be welded on, which will be the strongest option. Welding should be performed by a qualified professional. In regards to the point of ingress, there are no specific instructions because each trailer will be different. Of course you will want the end for the handle to point out so you can access it. Other than that there are no specifics.

I also recommend the Ultra-Fab Speed Socket Power Drill Adapter for Scissor Jacks # UF48-979005. It's designed to work with most scissor jacks, this unique socket is used with your power drill to extend and retract your jack up to 10 times faster than with a manual crank.

Please note that these jacks are designed to stabilize, but not to support the full weight of a trailer.
