Does Trailer Wiring Harness for 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander Tap into Hatch Opening Mechanism
Question:
Hello, I have a 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander. It does not have the electric hatch opener in the rear like your video shows. In this case, what will I interface the wire harness kit with? Thank you!

The Tekonsha trailer wiring harness part # 118482 that you referenced which is a confirmed fit for your 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander doesn't tie into the rear hatch opening wiring actually. It plugs into the taillight connectors of your vehicle so yours not having the electric hatch opener would not be an issue.
