How to Add Brakes to 3,500 lbs Trailers Without Brakes  

Question:

Do you have a kit to add elect, brakes to my trailers that currently have no brakes at all? I want to add brakes to these 3500lb trailers and use a good brake controller but Id like to buy one kit that contains the whole enchilada. First trailer is a Carson enclosed 6 x 10 utility. 3500lb axle rating on tag with a flange for backing plate. Caveat is that these suckers have different size wheels. Flatbed us 4 1/2 x 5. Box is 5 x 5, I think. Second trailer is a flatbed 6x 10 utility. 3500 lb axle rating on tag with flange Thanks

7-Way Upgrade wiring Kit - # HS381-9000

Flatbed Trailer

Hub/Drum Assembly - # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K

Heat Shrink Butt Connectors - # DW05745-10

The only difference between the parts lists are that the hubs for the flatbed trailer have a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern and the hubs for the Carson trailer have the 5 on 5 inch bolt pattern. I've attached a few installation videos and a help article for you to check out on these parts just in case you plan on doing the work yourself.
