Brake Controller Trailer Braking Function When Backing Down A Hill

I just ordered one of these brake controllers and was wondering if this controller will engage my trailer brakes if Im backing down a hill?

The Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160 will engage your trailer brakes when you are backing down a hill in proportion to your speed and brake pedal use. If you want more braking since at the reverse speed with a trailer will be minimal, you will want to use the manual override slide on your controller to instantly apply the braking pressure desired.
