Troubleshooting Left Turn Signal Not Working on Trailer

Question:

Left turn signal not working on caravan bleeper works and car flashes at correct speed plugged in tester and it shows weak red led on both left and right each function pin shows ok . Plug in tester to caravan and press yellow button and all leds show bright red any ideas ?

It sounds like everything is working fine on the vehicle end, so the issue is likely somewhere on the trailer side. Usually when just a single function isn't working like the left turn signal, the problem is a bad or weak ground connection. I recommend checking to make sure all the ground connections on the trailer are made to clean and bare metal surfaces, free of any corrosion.

Also check the trailer side connector for any debris or corrosion built-up behind the pins that might be preventing a secure connection between the tow vehicle and trailer.
