Does the Vehicle Specific Adapter Come with the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller
Question:
am placing an order for Tekonsha 90195 P3 Electronic Brake Control. Do I also need to separately order Tekonsha 3045-P Brake Control Wiring Adapter for Jeep, and also do I need to separately order the Tekonsha 5906 Brake Control Bracket? In other words, they don’t all come as part of the Brake Control order itself? Are these the correct part #s? 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with factory tow package

Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes, the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # TK93VR must be purchased separately from the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195. The Plug-In Wiring Adapter is specific for your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee which is why we do not combined it with the brake controller. The Replacement Mounting Bracket Kit for Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # TK5906 however comes with the above brake controller and will not need to be ordered separately.
