Is there enough clearance for the rear door of the Rav4 to fully open swing on the side when the rack is in the tilt down position. Thanks

A rear door that swings out to the side, rather than a hatch that swings up, would not be able to open, even if the Thule Hitching Post Pro, # TH934XTR is tilted down.

Instead, you will need a bike rack that swings out to the side like the Thule Apex, # TH9027XT, to be able to open the rear door. This bike rack requires a 2-inch trailer hitch.
