I am not sure what model wiring harness you previously installed on your 2008 Mazda 6, so I cannot confirm whether or not it will work on your 2015 Honda CR-V. If it was a universal, hardwire kit, then most likely it is compatible but I cannot be sure.
With that being said, we do have a few custom-fit wiring harnesses available for your 2015 Honda CR-V that will allow for a much easier installation.
I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118561. This harness is designed specifically for your vehicle, so it will install by simply plugging into existing ports located in the rear cargo area on your CR-V (behind the driver and passenger side interior trim panels). Once these connections are made, you are all set! No hardwiring is required.
I have attached an installation video on your vehicle that you can use for reference.
