Troubleshooting No 12 Volt Power on 7-Way of 2004 Chevy Silverado
Question:
I have a 2004 2500 chevy truck and all wiring works to trailer plug but the power wire and that wire is red. how do I get power on this wire. I have not been able to find this wire at fuse box under hood.

There are a few connections and fuses that need to be installed in a fuse box on your 2004 Silverado. It's under the hood in the fuse box that's on the driver side. Pull the lid off and you'll see a fuse diagram chart.
It sounds like your circuit maybe just isn't completed. If you check out the link I attached below and scroll down the underhood connections section you can see how to make all the needed connections to activate the 7-way.
