Recommended Vent Covers for 6x12 Cargo Trailer Hauling Animals
Question:
Hi, I just got a new american hauler 6x12 cargo trailer for hauling rabbits and such to shows. I had them put 2 sets of sidewall vents in along with 2 roof vents for the summer time. The problem I am facing now is that it is not summer lol. Pretty sure the inside part of the vents are the 3inch size. Do they make the inside portion of that vent that can be closed off when you dont want the extra airflow? I see the 4inch one but not a 3 Thanks

To close the inside of your vents, I recommend the Butterfly Vent and Gasket for Polar Roof Ventilator - Aluminum # PLR24-004. These are 7-1/4 inches in diameter to allow you to mount them over the inside portion of those vents. There is not a specific part to close off those vents, but these will work well to take the direct air flow out of the equation when you don't need it. These ventilators will allow you to determine what air flow is needed for your cargo to keep them comfortable and safe.
