What Plug-In Wiring Adapter Is Needed To Install Voyager Brake Controller In 2017 Ford F-150
Question:
Can this controller be applied to a 2017 Ford F150, I removed it from my 2011 Ford F150 . I was told it would throw a code and that I had to purchase one through Ford.

The Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller, Item # 39510, can be moved from your 2011 Ford F-150 to your 2017 Ford F-150. You will need the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers, Item # 22292. After installing, you will have codes set off and will need to go to a Ford dealership and get your Ford's onboard computer flashed so that the codes are "killed".
I have attached an article and a video for you to check out.
