Recommended 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver for a 2018 Jay Flight SLX 184BS
Question:
So my travel trailer frame is 59" wide. Is there a 2" reciever hitch you can recommend for that? The one you suggested will not fit. I also need to make it so the reciever part is about 13" out from the camper. I'll only ne using this for a bike rack I bought from you guys that holds 4 bikes

Yes, in order to carry a bike rack or cargo carrier on the rear of your 2018 Jay Flight SLX 184BS I highly recommend the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13702 which is specifically designed for trailers and RV's and will give you a 2" receiver tube opening. As long as the frame rails on your Jay Flight do not measure to be more than 51" apart outside to outside then this hitch will be perfect for you.
Please keep in mind that bike racks used on the back of a trailer will experience more stress than on the back of a vehicle therefore, they must be approved for this purpose. I have attached a list of our RV approved bike racks for you. Cargo carriers are not as strict but it will be a good idea to use a fixed cargo carrier rather than a folding cargo carrier as the stress will not be as much of a factor. I have also attached a list of our fixed cargo carriers for you as well.
