Recommended Trailer Hitch for Bike Rack on 2016 Toyota Avalon Hybrid

Question:

I’m looking for a hitch so I can put a bike rack on my car. Because it’s a hybrid, no one seems to make one to fit. I will not be towing with it, I’ll just use it to hold a hitch mounted bike rack. 2016 Toyota Avalon Limited Hybrid. Thanks!

There is a hitch that will fit your 2016 Toyota Avalon Hybrid, the Draw-Tite # 36540, which is a Class II hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver; I checked with Draw-TIte to confirm this. Keep in mind you will need a bike rack which fits in a 1-1/4" receiver and is Class II compatible such as the Kuat Transfer # KU74FR.
