Best Frame Mounted Hitch Platform Bike Rack for 2016 Outback Wagon and Hitch Assembly
Question:
Could you recommend the best frame mounted rack options for my fendered bikes? I am looking at the Thule Double Track Pro 2, but it doesnt tilt down with bikes on the rack. We will be taking the bikes on longer road trips and bike security is important. Thank you. Once I buy the rack I will need to attach a hitch to the car. The hitch will only be used for whichever bike rack I purchase. 2inch or 1 1/4inch hitch? I prefer the EcoHitch over the DrawTight for aesthetic reasons hidden, but is one better than the other? Thank you for your time.

For a hitch for your 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon the EcoHitch part # 306-X7601 is the best option. It's well hidden, 2 inch in size, and will do a great job carrying a bike rack.
Best option that covers all your criteria for a bike rack is the Thule EasyFold part # TH903202. It grabs the bikes at the frames like you need since you have bikes with fenders and can tilt down pretty far if needed. Check out the picture to see that. Also check out the review video I attached for more info as well.
