If your trailer's axles have the 5 bolt brake flange and 12 by 2 inch drums then the brake assemblies, part # AKEBRK-7-SA, will work for you. Verify by measuring the inner diameter and width of the drums.

You should know that mobile home axles are designed for one time use and therefore replacement parts can be difficult to find. They generally don't fit the standard parts. If you're running into this you may be better off replacing the axles on your trailer to make it easier later on down the road.

I know very little about mobile home brakes, and have able to find anyone locally. I have a trailer with 12 drums and would like to change the old one for a newer style. The trailer appears to have the backing plate welded on and no visible studs. Do you have something for this? The axle diameter is 3.

If the brake assemblies are actually welded onto the axle (which is the case for a lot of these older mobile home trailers), your only option for replacing them will be with a whole new axle. I know this probably isn't what you wanted to hear, but doing this will at least give the trailer a more modern setup with easily replaceable parts down the line. If you can tell me the hub face length and capacity of your existing axle, I will be happy to help pick out a new one.
