Question About Parts Needed For Installation Of Hitch For 2000 Mercedes-Benz ML320
Question:
I have a 2000 ML320 that I have a hitch for. The kits show an L bracket on the frame. Is this required for a small U haul trailer? If so are those parts and hardware available separately? Thanks

Expert Reply:
Your hitch instructions require an L bracket for the installation to your frame so you will need to have it even for a small U-Haul trailer. Proper installation is necessary to make sure everything including the trailer, your vehicle, and your are kept safe and secure. For example, if you have something like the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Hitch, Item # 75087, then part of the installation includes brackets.
For a hardware kit, we have the Replacement Hardware Kit for Trailer Hitches, Item # RHK. If you put in this part number when placing your order and then specify your hitch item number and select the manufacturer, the correct replacement parts for your installation will be ordered.
I have attached a video for you to check out.
