Weight Distribution System Recommendation for Loaded Tongue Weight of 750 lbs
Question:
Towing a 32ft travel trailer with a 2018 Ford F150 3.5 ecoboost with Max Tow. The dry hitch weight should be about 600 dry, and about 750 fully loaded. Should I go with the 750lb spring bars or the 1000lb spring bars?

Expert Reply:
Since you ideally want your loaded tongue weight to fall right into the middle of a weight distribution's tongue weight range and your tongue weight is 750 lbs the 1,000 lb kit from Blue Ox part # BXW1000 would be your better solution as it has a tongue weight range of 750 lbs - 1,000 lbs.
That said, your best solution would be a system with a wider tongue weight range where yours falls right in the middle. The Strait Line system part # RP66084 has a tongue weight range of 600-1,200 lbs and features sway control that works to fight sway before it starts.
For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
