I do have an option for you but according to the owner's manual for your 2012 Buick Verano, the maximum tongue weight capacity for the vehicle without any passengers or cargo is 150 lbs. Therefore, the Go-Go Elite Traveller would be too heavy to carry on the rear of the vehicle.
In order to carry the scooter around I recommend using a small trailer like the Detail K2 Mighty Multi Utility Trailer part # K2MMT4X6. In order to use this trailer you are going to need a trailer hitch, wiring harness, and ball mount/hitch ball. For a trailer hitch, I recommend the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 24882 as long as you do not have the turbo charged or dual exhaust model. Then for a wiring harness I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118564. To complete your setup you will need a ball mount/hitch ball and for that I recommend both part # 3593 and part # 19256.
I have attached a review video of the above trailer for you as well.
