Recommended 4-Bike Bike Rack for a Front Mount Hitch on a Ram 3500
Question:
I have a front hitch on my Ram 3500. 2 inch hitch as well as I have a step down to 1.25. I am looking for the shortest hitch mount bike rack. Goal is to keep the bikes low and out of sight hidden by the hood/grill as much as possible. Since the front hitch is pretty high already, we have tons of clearance already. What would you recommend for this?

To carry 4 bikes on the front of your Ram 3500 I recommend using the Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount, Item # TH69TX. As you can see from the product page it has a straight shank so the bike actually sit lower than most other applications.
This bike rack fits 2" hitch receivers and can hold up to 4 bikes that have a max weight of 40 lbs each and a wheelbase range of 20" - 29". The rack itself weighs in at 96 lbs so if you completely loaded it down you would be looking at 253 lbs of weight on your front trailer hitch. I would be sure to make sure it is rated for that much tongue weight before hauling your bikes.
The Thule T2 comes with locks so you won't have to purchase them separately. I have attached a review video for you to check out as well.
