Can a 2016 Kia Soul Tow a Trailer
Question:
I have a 2016 kia soul plus. Im looking at a class 1 trailer hitch with a 200 pound tunge limit, to tow a 613 pound motorcycle, with front tire tow dolly with the back wheel on the ground. I was wondering what tunge wait would be ?

The tongue weight (TW) of a travel trailer is typically 10-15% of the gross trailer weight (GTW). However, tow dolly's typically do not reach this mark due to the placement of the vehicle on the dolly. Therefore, I estimate the TW of your motorcycle tow dolly to be around 50-100 lbs. You can use a tongue weight scale like part # e99044 if you need an exact weight.
However, according to the owner's manual for you 2016 Kia Soul it is not recommended tow tow a trailer with this vehicle therefore I cannot recommend doing so. Should you choose to anyway you would need a trailer hitch, wiring harness, and ball mount/hitch ball. For this, I recommend using part # 24915 for the hitch, part # 118637 for the wiring, part # 3593 for the ball mount, and part # 19256 for a 1-7/8" or part # 19258 for a 2" hitch ball.
